Question 1

How do I set my sportsbook/market preferences?

Accepted Answer

Click your username in the top right corner, then select Settings. Each sportsbook has a three-way control: Bet (shown on the odds screen and eligible for the Best Line column), Reference (shown for comparison but never picked as the best line), and Hide (removed from the odds screen entirely). Changes save automatically. Markets work the same way — toggle any market off to hide it from the odds screen.

Question 2

Where are the projections?

Accepted Answer

Sharpr publishes full NBA projections and pitcher projections for MLB. The projection for a given prop appears to the right of the player’s name on the odds screen.

Question 3

How can I sort by player/team/market?

Accepted Answer

Use the filter section on the left side of the odds screen. There is a search bar for teams and players. Clicking a team icon filters props to that team; clicking a market filters to those props. You can deselect players at the bottom of the panel to remove them from the odds screen, then click them again or click Select All to add them back.

Question 4

Where can I find player info?

Accepted Answer

Click a player name on the odds screen to see stats, matchup details, game logs, and more. You can also click the MLB tab in the top left corner and choose Slate from the dropdown for the full suite of data.

Question 5

How do I find stats on the Slate page?

Accepted Answer

Click a player name on the Slate page to pull up the full matchup details for that game.

Question 6

How do I see liquidity on exchanges?

Accepted Answer

The odds screen includes liquidity indicators for exchange platforms. Hover over the small quarter-circle in the corner of the prop box to see the current limit for that line.

Question 7

What’s the difference between a Projected and Confirmed lineup?

Accepted Answer

MLB lineups are labeled Projected before the team officially announces them — our best estimate based on the opponent and recent trends. Once the team announces the lineup, it switches to Confirmed and any changes from the projection are reflected automatically.

Question 8

What are Conditionals and how do I use them?

Accepted Answer

Conditionals are an NBA feature that lets you see projections based on injury news. Every questionable player starts In; tap a player in the Conditionals tab on the left of the odds screen to mark them Out, and both teams in that game re-price as if they sit. If the model has no projection for the combination you pick, that game shows odds only. Conditionals are the best way to see how a player with uncertain status affects their teammates — and their opponents.

Question 9

How do I decide which edges to bet?

Accepted Answer

Each prop shows an edge percentage in green next to the side we show value on. If you are newer to prop betting or leaning heavily on our analysis, a good rule of thumb is to stick to double-digit edges (10%+) — those have performed well over a long stretch and are a simple way to bet positive EV. Keep adverse selection in mind: the strongest edges move fastest, so an edge that hasn’t moved (or has grown) by game time can be less reliable than it looks. See the How To Use Sharpr guide for the full breakdown.

Question 10

Why is the pitcher outs market different from other markets?

Accepted Answer

Because of how baseball is structured, starters come out of the game — so pitchers are more likely to land on 15 or 18 outs (a clean 5 or 6 innings) than on 16 or 17. We account for this nuance, but it is still worth weighing those key numbers and factoring in bullpen availability and matchups. The How To Use Sharpr guide goes deeper on the pitching markets.

Question 11

Should I wait for confirmed lineups before betting?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the market. Pitching props — especially strikeouts and pitcher walks — can shift once lineups are announced, while pitching outs tends to matter less. There is some risk in betting before lineups are confirmed, but always waiting means missing the best of the number a decent chunk of the time. It is fine to bet at release as long as you are aware of the potential downside. See the How To Use Sharpr guide and the pre-bet checklist for more.

Question 12

How does billing work?

Accepted Answer

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Each sport is its own subscription on its own monthly cycle, so you can subscribe to one sport or several and manage them independently. Review your plans and payment method anytime on the Settings page.

Question 13

Will my price ever go up?

Accepted Answer

No. As long as your subscription stays active, the monthly price you signed up at is locked — including across off-season pauses. Any price changes apply only to new subscriptions. If you cancel and later re-subscribe, current pricing would apply.

Question 14

Will I be charged during the off-season?

Accepted Answer

No. For seasonal sports, billing automatically pauses during the off-season — you are not charged while the season is not running. Your subscription stays in place and resumes when the next season begins.

Question 15

When does billing resume after the off-season?

Accepted Answer

Billing resumes when the next season starts. We email you at least 7 days before billing resumes and your payment method is charged. No action is needed to continue, and you can cancel anytime before then on the Settings page.

Question 16

I subscribed near the end of a season — why wasn’t I charged?

Accepted Answer

If you subscribe when less than a full billing cycle remains in a season, the rest of that season is free. Your monthly billing starts when the next season begins, and we email you at least 7 days before that first charge.

Question 17

I signed up before the season started — when does my trial or billing begin?

Accepted Answer

If you sign up before a sport’s season begins, nothing starts counting until opening night. A free trial starts on opening night and runs its full length from there; without a trial, your first monthly charge is on opening night and nothing is charged before then. The dates are shown at signup.

Question 18

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Go to the Settings page and cancel there — no phone call, email, or support request needed. Each sport can be canceled independently. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. If you cancel while billing is paused for the off-season, it takes effect immediately, since there is no remaining paid period.

Question 19

How does the free trial work?

Accepted Answer

New subscribers may be offered a free trial. The trial length, the amount charged after it, and the date of that first charge are shown at signup before you enter payment details. A valid payment method is required to start. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Trials are limited to one per customer.

Question 20

Can I subscribe to more than one sport?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each sport is a separate monthly subscription. You can add a sport anytime from the app — with a saved payment method it is a one-click add — and cancel any sport independently on the Settings page.

Question 21

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Want a refund? We’ll refund your most recent payment — just email support@sharpr.bet. Charges before your most recent payment are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
